Itenary

Day 1
  • 12:00 PM

    Upon arrival at the Murtala Mohammed International airport, you will be picked up by a Motley rep who would then take you to your hotel to check-in and have some rest.

  • 02:00 PM

    Arrive at the hotel and check-in to your room. Take some time to rest from your trip.

  • 07:00 PM

    You will be hosted to a welcome dinner at a carefully selected restaurant. Retire to your hotel after dinner for the next day's activity.

Day 2
  • 10:00 AM

    You will take the city tour of Lagos which includes a visit to the Lekki Conservation Center, Nike Arts Gallery and National Museum.

Day 3
  • 08:00 AM

    Experience Badagry - a town that holds the history of the slave era in West Africa. Your first point of call would be Slave Baraccoon. Its quite a touchy experience here, we recommend concentration in other to follow through the historic recall of the slave era. Other sites to visit include the Heritage Museum, first storey building in Nigeria, Point of no return on Gberefu Island.

Day 4
  • 10:00 AM

    We take you on a thrilling dance class where you get to see and learn some cultural dances steps and even a mix of creative musical dance steps. After the dance class, we will take you for a short cooking class where you get to learn to prepare the Nigerian Jollof rice and/or other dishes.

Day 5
  • 07:00 AM

    Today we will take a train ride to Abeokuta to see the Olumo rock. The rock is of a major significance to the egba people due to its role during the war. You will hike up the rock and get an aerial view of the ancient city of Abeokuta.

  • 11:00 AM

    You will visit the Adire market. Adire is a native attire perculiar to the Yoruba people and its a major trade amongst the people in Abeokuta.

  • 1:00 PM

    Explore the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library. The library holds a museum that showcases the life and times of the for mer president of Nigeria as a military ruler and as a civilian president. A very interesting time at the museum.

  • 02:30 PM

    Time to have lunch at the Green Legacy Resort before heading back to the train station.

  • 03:30PM

    Time to head back to the train station to join the last service back to Lagos.

Day 6
  • 12:00 PM

    Today, we explore the Makoko village. Makoko is a village where everyone in the village lives on water. Their daily activity starts and ends on water. The village showcases a school which is no longer operational and a host of other sites to behold in Makoko.

Day 7
  • 11:00 AM

    Lets visit the Lekki Art market as you may want to shop some souvenirs before you go home. Explore the beautiful artworks, leather works and some fabrics. The market offers a variety to visitors when they visit.

Day 8
  • Check-out and departure.
